At Pulse Oil we take environmental sustainability very seriously. Safeguarding our environment for the benefit of future generations is a key part of our long-term commitment to meeting the world's energy needs.
Environmental Policy
We makes a commitment to operate in a transparent and environmentally responsible manner.
We believe that:
Our environmental commitments are an integral part of our day to day activities
We are responsible for achieving good environmental practices
We can have a positive impact on our operating environments
Environmental stewardship is the responsibility of all employees
To achieve this we:
Maintain and continually improve our Environmental Management System
Promote the concept of cleaner hydrocarbon exploration and development to meet the world’s energy needs and reduce our reliance on coal and heavy oil
Empower our employees and contractors to have pride in our Environmental Management System, to actively make contributions to the system and to strive for continual improvement
Proactively identify environmental hazards through an environmental risk assessment process and take all steps possible to manage these to a level as low as reasonably practicable
Set targets for environmental improvement and measure, appraise and report on our performance against these targets
Ensure employees have the necessary training, skills, knowledge and resources to fulfil their environmental responsibilities
Efficiently use our natural and physical resources
Design, construct, and maintain our assets, and manage all operations, with the goal of preventing environmental incidents
Require our business partners and contractors to demonstrate a similarly high level of commitment to environmental performance
Comply with all relevant environmental legislation, international conventions and industry best practice
