Was a busy few weeks at Pulse, including Christmas Eve, Christmas day and Boxing Day for the drilling team! We sure appreciate the time and effort from this hard working crew during the holiday season! Two wells safely and successfully drilled with consistently encouraging oil and gas shows throughout drilling and we always like to be “on time and on budget” for Pulse’s first two wells (“16-15” and “12-9”) drilled as a company.
Both wells encountered great porosity readings, consistent oil staining and gas readings that were very high, all good signs that we look for as we drill!
Even more exciting is that Pulse’s new seismic interpretation has definitely put us into the high porosity lithic sandstone section we were hoping for. We have 8-more locations identified in this newly discovered trend, we have potentially dozens more in the other 100% Pulse owned exploration acreage in the surrounding area and we’re excited to complete and test these first two wells and get on with the rest of the program.”
Pulse’s First Two Wells:
Drilled 6,279 total meters; 2,519 horizontal meters, Total Days to Drill Both Wells: 17
Total Cost to Drill and Case Both Wells: Under CDN$2 million
